When baby has arrived, how could a doula be helpful for us?

The first few weeks after baby arrives you can focus on the new addition to your life and know that your doula could do any of the following and more:

This little one and you are learning how to feed and the first weeks are so important. The doula learns your vision for infant feeding and will ensure you have the necessary supplies and/or information for a good start in nourishing your newborn.

Sleep! After birth rest will set you on the best path of this new journey with baby and your mind, body, and spirit. A doula can free up time for you to rest by cleaning, cooking, running errands, infant feeding, observing, or holding baby. Sleeping 90 minutes within the first 24 hours after birth is so important for the birthing persons well being.
